Ricardo de Paula is a Brazilian freelance dance performer and choreographer. He was born in Belo Horizonte, the capital of Minas Gerais, Brazil. He began his dance studies in 1987, attending dance classes at ´Harmonia Studio de Dança`.


Since 1989 he has danced as a professional, being hired by several dance companies. Recently, the artist has been researching popular Brazilian culture and developing works of contact improvisation.
