WAVING & POPPING - – OPEN LEVEL

Gissauro is a Brazilian dancer who moves with incredible body control and a distinctive presence. She is deeply connected to different contexts within Berlin’s current dance scene, bringing influences, experiences and encounters from different worlds into her teaching.

In Waving & Popping, the class explores the art of making the body flow, isolate and move with precision. Waves travel through different parts of the body, movements connect with clarity, and visual illusions emerge through the interplay of flow and control.

Gissauro’s teaching is not only about technique, but about developing a new relationship with your body: How can movement travel through the body? How can you make music visible? And how can precision become something deeply organic?
